Things I'm Addicted To Part 1

I can't seem to stop making these notepad sets. So easy and cheap --using scraps and a great idea for prizes for parties. I've used them for three parties in the last two weeks.

December 6 at the crop in Hobby Lobby we are going to learn to make them.

To make a three piece set will cost $4.00. You can make more than one but it would be cheaper to just learn to do it and use your own scraps.

Let me know if you need a kit for the crop.

Floating Frame Gift

I made this picture frame for a friend who just had a baby. I used Rub Ons which are my favorite thing ever. It's hard to get a really good picture of this because of... well, I don't know why it's hard. It just is. So on the next few pictures I stock some dark green cardstock hoping it would show up better than on my white craft table.

More Holiday Planner pics

I love these Christmas Card lists.

Gift Ideas and Holiday Budget (shudder) planners.

Here's my favorite part. The kids each have their own page. They wrote in their wish list and also what they want to give as presents.

Here are some more pages that I haven't put in the book yet. But you get the idea.

Holiday Planner

I am making a concious effort to be more organized this Christmas season. Running around frantic and crazy wasn't really working for me. Decorating journals works for me. So I may still be running around frantic and crazied but I have a pretty journal, right?
I used mat board that I cut up into the size I want and covered it with paper from a paper pack I got in the Christmas section of Hobby Lobby. I added big binder rings and viola! I have a journal!

I got these AWESOME organizer pages from Organized Christmas. You just print them out and you are ready to go!

I added pages to remember last years Christmas. These are pics of the kids decorating the tree.

I'll have more pics up in a bit.

Why I Love Homeschooling

The Coupons Book

I've decided to learn how to use coupons. My previous method for using coupons actually cost me more money because I bought everything I had a coupon for even though it was all stuff I would never buy without a coupon. My husband banned me from doing that ever again. So I'm going to try this again but attach a little wisdom to the process.

I'm taking a little class on using coupons tonight with other moms in my homeschool group. We are supposed to bring a binder filled with sheet protectors and dividers. Here is my binder but it's hard to see because it's black.

Yuck.

So I decorated it a little bit. I'm pretty happy with the results. If it's pretty maybe I'll stick with it longer than a week?

This is the new cover:

The spine:

The inside cover of the binder. I covered the pocket, too. And made a cover sheet but I don't know how I'm going to decorate that yet.

Some of the dividers:
